April 21, 2016 - WHERE ARE WE NOW?

We never imagined we'd hit our goal - £12,000.00, which is the fee for good legal representation. That's almost US $19,000. About CAD $23,000.

Last time when Tommy was faced with court, the situation was also dangerous. How much was raised? £600 pounds.

This time, there was massive generosity. People gave what they could. The donations kept coming in. A couple were huge: $3000 and $2000. Many were small. So far, there have been 1001 contributions. Thank you to each and every one of you. It means so much to Tommy and to all of us.

Where are we now?

We started on April 4.

On April 11, one week into our fund raising drive, we had not only hit our goal. We had passed it, and still the donations kept coming in. We had just passed £24,000 - twice our goal.

We knew every bit was needed for the legal battle ahead. Tommy also has a wife and 3 children to take care of.

April 21, 2016.

We are at £31,900. That's about US $51,500. About CAD $60,000.
